Texas Tech Produces Next-Gen Construction Leaders Thanks to Industry Tech
NorCalBUG is a knowledge-sharing community that meets quarterly to connect local design, engineering, and construction professionals throughout Northern California.
In an effort to curate a vast network of industry peers, the group’s champions merged the Bay Area and Sacramento BUGs to expand its reach and formed the Northern California Bluebeam User Group!
NorCalBUG provides a welcoming and inclusive knowledge-sharing platform for all Bluebeam users in Northern California.
This innovative group is made up of passionate and dedicated AECO professionals who explore new ways to use Bluebeam® Revu® and push technology boundaries. The group’s diverse cross section of industry disciplines, and locations, consistently curates exciting, thought-provoking meetings.
Whether a beginner or a seasoned Bluebeam expert, there’s always an opportunity to learn something new at NorCalBUG.
As a Project Administrator, Jennifer leads her firm’s knowledge management efforts and manages project information and business processes. Jennifer leverages her decades of project support experience within the AEC space to identify workflow inefficiencies and develop process standards. Jennifer is excited to collaborate and knowledge-share with her fellow Sacramento peers and dive into the intricacies of the AEC industry.
Hitesh brings over 15 years of industry experience to the group and is passionate about technological innovation and education. His passion for teaching and learning doesn’t stop with leading his local peers in the BUG community. Hitesh is an instructor at UC Davis and is committed to educating the future of the AECO industry.
Rebecca has been a passionate Bluebeam user since it was a plug-in for AutoCAD. Rebecca has spent her 20 year career in the civil AEC industry teaching and supporting Civil 3D. However, when her company transitioned to Bluebeam in 2016, Rebecca was tapped to lead the charge. Since then, Rebecca has taught Bluebeam to hundreds of users, leads internal company user group meetings, conducts quarterly training sessions, and posts weekly tips. Despite all her experience, Rebecca is always amazed when she learns a new trick – which is on a regular basis! Rebecca is excited to share what she knows and learn from her fellow BUG members.
We're always on the lookout for new Champions who are eager to support their local BUG and make an impact in their local community.
