Generating a Summary of the Markups List

There are times when the Markups list contains valuable data that you need to use for a report, or you may need to process the data with more power than what is available within the Markups list functions. Revu allows you to generate a Summary of the Markups list in three different formats: PDF, CSV (comma separated value), and XML. Both CSV and XML formats are supported by Microsoft Excel, but XML works best with Excel 2003 and above.

Create a Summary as a PDF, CSV or XML file
  • Open Revu and then open a PDF file that contains markups.

  • On the File menu, click Markups, Summary and then desired file type.

  • The summary file window will display. Select your desired settings and click ok.

  • Enter the File Name you wish to save the Summary as and click Save.

  • If the Summary is saved as a PDF, the file will open up automatically in Revu.

  • When a PDF Summary of the Markups list is created, a thumbnail preview will be printed to show the appearance of each markup on the drawing.
